The Light Up The Queen Foundation is a Delaware non-profit corporation dedicated to the revival of The Queen Theater in Wilmington, Delaware, and to assuring that The Queen serves as a catalyst for building community by engaging diverse populations through high quality programs in music, education, workforce development and mentoring.
At the heart of K.I.D.S.’ work is building sustaining partnerships with corporations, foundations and local communities to have lasting benefit in the lives of children and families. We solicit product donations from over 1,000 manufacturers and retailers in the children’s business. We then distribute the new clothing, books, shoes, toys, baby products, educational materials and other items that kids need to local partner agencies around the country, which they integrate into their program delivery.
S.A.V.E. is a non-profit community organization whose aim is to sustain the region’s rural quality of life and community character through influencing infrastructure and land use planning that fosters conservation, environmental protection, and safety.
